How to wear bright red lipstick
Lipstick: The comeback of a standard
After a decade of gloss and barely there lip colour, good old creamy textured lipstick is back in business. Particularily in deeply saturated hues, for both a retro inspired look but also, coupled with very bare eyes, a highly modern take. A really nice selection of bright reds, oranges, corals but also rosewood pinks, for the less adventurous, can be found in the highly affordable line “L’Authentique” by Rouge Baiser (available in any decently stocked French supermarket). Probably one of the most long-lived makeup items ever, launched in 1927, this lipstick today feels as modern as ever.
Here a tutorial (in French with English subtitles) on how to apply and wear the brightest red lipstick. Hope you like it!
